"I'll see you all tomorrow, in the janitor's closet, at four o'clock sharp."
Melanie has had nothing but bad luck when it comes to men. She is focused on finding the perfect man, but nothing is working out. Her roommate, Patti, thinks she is too marriage-focused and isn't even sure of her feelings before she tries to get a man to commit too. Frustrated, Melanie asks Patti if she thinks she could do better. Patti takes up the challenge, determined to help her friend to look before she leaps and find Mr. Right.
My Opinion: This was a very cute short story. The characters are cute and quirky. From the very beginning you get sucked into their lives and the way they do everything. Perhaps it's just the way the friends interact, but it just makes you remember the fun parts of being single. Melanie is a classic marriage-obsessed character that is cute and fun. I didn't want this to end, especially since there were a couple side stories that didn't seem to quite get resolved. But it was definitely a light and fun read to make you smile.
