Linked By Love

Rox Denny Fox
Contemporary Romance

"I always said old age and treachery will win over youth and skill any day."

Cole O'Donnell's grandfather was the only real family he had.  And now, the land he inherited will be perfect for realizing his dream of owning his own golf course.  The only problem is a small piece of his land that is important for his course, but local neighbor Tibby claims was given to her grandmother for a post office.  Tibby Mack is the youngest resident of Yaqui Springs and doesn't mind it one bit.  Raised by her grandmother, she has no problem helping out all the people who helped her growing up.  And if that means going head to head against Cole O'Donnell, new owner of the land next door, then that's just what she'll do.  Even if she can't find proof that Cole's grandfather donated some of his land to be used for the post office.  Even if that land is needed for Cole's new golf course.  Even if the more she spends time with him, the more she wants him to never leave.

My Opinion: This was a really fun read that delved into how we really show love and devotion while still being a lighthearted romance.  Tibby is a little eccentric, but its understandable and she is sweet.  Cole is hardworking and giving in his own way.  They are a great combination.  Although there are some things that seem to be predictable, the author manages to twist and turn around them and keep you wondering what will happen.  And of course, I love the matchmaking older ladies - they're great.  Fun read.

I was given a free copy of this book to review.  No other compensation was given.  The summary and opinion are 100% my own.
