Kisses on Her Christmas List
"But sexy wasn't exactly the way a grown woman should dress in a room filled with babies, toddlers and elementary school kids."
Shannon is spending her first Christmas alone since her husband left her after she lost the ability to have a child of her own. She thinks she is ready for it - until Rory ????? shows up on her doorstep needing a place for himself and his daughter. Finley is less than excited about Christmas, and Shannon sees this as a great opportunity to spend some time with a child, and help her to re-learn how to love the Christmas season. Now if only she can find a way to not fall in love with Rory in the meantime. But it's hard when he is so cute and so amazing ... and wanting to have more kids. Can they make things work, or will this be one miracle even Christmas can't make come true?
My Opinion: This was a fun Christmas book to snuggle up with. Though not exactly full of sparkles and magic, it did bring on Christmas cheer. Shannon was a sad character, clearly still dealing with the loss of potential children more than losing her husband. Rory is a fun, well written character and by far the glue that keeps this story together. Their romance was sweet and fun. A definite mix of Christmas wishes, winter cheer and some family fun. Not as much focus on falling in love as some other romances, but still enough to make it fun. Overall a good one to get you into the holiday mood.
I was given a free copy of this book to review. No other compensation was given. The summary and opinion are 100% my own.
