"Unbelievably, there are some things worse than puking in front of the football
Not only is she shy. slightly awkward and has issues at home; Casey has a secret. For some unknown reason, the universe has decided that she should travel through time without warning. At least she always goes back to the same time. Most of the time it is simply a nuisance and a bit tiring - she always comes back eventually. But ever since Casey has been around her crush, Nate, it has been happening more frequently. But things start to get interesting when she accidentally takes Nate back with her. Now, not only is she faced with the boy she likes but has never talked to, but she has to explain to him that he's a hundred and fifty years in the past. What could he think of her/ And what will happen when they get back to the present?
My Opinion: This was a really fun book. I'll admit, it took me a few pages to really get into it, but I got completely hooked into this one. The twists and turns actually surprised me and kept me guessing. I loved the romance of it - nothing too heavy especially since it's young adult - but still a good toe-curling romance that makes you giddy again. Casey is a strong, independent character who is still lovable and sweet. Nate is a wonderful male counterpart - not perfect, but still a knight in shining armor kind of hero. I love their interactions and the well researched history. Well created side characters made this story great. Altogether, I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.
