  1. Hi! I don't really mind to read stand alone or series books, but if I love a book, I will probably beg for a series! Thanks for this chance!

  2. Well, I don't like reading books in a series if I can't get my hands on the next book right away! Waiting is killer. But, I do enjoy books both ways.

  4. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

I like reading books that are in a series and stand alones. I don't really choose either one more than the other.

P.S. Great review of the book!

  5. Hi! I actually don't have a preference between series or an only book! There's some pros and cons in both ways!
In a series you get to know more of the characters!
but some of my favourite books are stand alone books.
    Kisses

  6. I don't know that I have a strong preference -- some times it feels liks books in a series just drag out the story, but other times I love to get more of my favorite characters! It seems like all the new books now are part of a series, so I like it when I find a good stand alone book.

  7. I would love to read Hauntings of the Heart. It sounds so darling:)
I love both types of books. When you love a character you hope you get a series, but nothing is worse than a series when you just can't love the hero/heroine :)

  8. I do honestly like both however when a series goes onto too many books I find I get lose interest in wanting to read them all.

  10. I think I prefer stand alone books, but only because it irks me when not great books are part of a series. Because I want to find out what happened, but I'm not willing to buy another if the first one wasn't great.

  11. Most of the books that you've reviewed and that I've wanted to read, I've already read. So, I'll say that I am excited for another one of Donna Hatch's books. Jared Amesbury, how I love thee.

  12. I like some standalones, but more often than not I tend to like books that are in a series because you really get to know and care about the characters over time :D

  17. I think I prefer standalones, but there are a few series that I've really enjoyed!

  18. Standalones, definetely! Books that are forcefully dragged and filled with nonsense to fit in a series put me off...

  19. I'd really like to read 'Calico Christmas at Dry Creek ', sounds like a good historical romance... I rarely find ones I like and this one sounds like my type! 'Unlovable' gripped me as well, saying it was an intense read worried me a bit, but the story really interested me! If I had a chance to read it, I'd read it without hesitation.

  21. It depends. Sometimes I just want to get through a book, and sometimes I enjoy the characters so much that I wish it would continue! I would have to say I like series books that can also stand alone.
