Baby on the Ranch
Book 3 in Babies in the Boardroom Series
The Baby Project, Second Chance Baby, Baby on the Ranch
"Yes, that might make him a control freak. But he was a rich, successful control freak."
Suzanne is left with no family, no money, and a baby. The only thing she has worth anything is stock in the Andreas company - stock that no one seems to want to buy. Heading to Whiskey Springs, Texas, Suzanne hopes to convince the youngest Andreas brother to give her a job. She does not expect to be taken in by the family and living with Cade himself. Cade Andreas is not interested in another woman in his life. Not after failing his wife. But Suzanne is somehow getting under his skin and won't leave him alone. Perhaps she could be the key to his future - if he could forgive himself for his past.
My Opinion: This was another good and fun read from the Andreas brothers. I liked the characters and the feel of the small town. Side characters somewhat flushed out the story to create a warm feeling in the town and give a good backdrop. Suzanne is a confidant woman, facing the world on her own. Cade is an altogether good man who suffers from grief and regret. Their interaction is pretty good and sweet. The plot was well done though I felt it was a little cookie-cutter. It was still a good romance though and made me smile. A good conclusion to the series as it brought back in the other couples and somewhat updated you on them.
