"'Be gone witch?'  Who talks like that?"

Psychic abilities have brought nothing but problems and pain to Michelle's family and she wants nothing to do with it.  Moving to England and starting a new school without her mom or brother was hard enough - she didn't need anyone to think she was crazy too.  But almost as soon as she gets there, she starts seeing visions of a handsome man.....in medieval garb.  Why can't she be normal?  She sees him in her drawing, seemingly not in control of what she is drawing, and she sees him at the castle.  Soon she's traveling back in time where no one can see or hear her but him.  To make things worse, it seems the way to get back to her own time is to kiss him.  As Michelle finds out more and more about what happened in the past, does she dare try to change things to protect Christopher?

My Opinion:  Overall, I would say this was an awesome book.  It starts out a bit choppy but it has a lot of ground work to cover.  Soon the excitement of the plot catches you and smooths things out.  The author weaves a wonderful tale of mystery, love, and intrigue and gives you bits and pieces along the way until you're dying to know what happens.  Great twists and turns take you along as the past is changed and the future is affected.  The characters are all wonderful, filling in two worlds with real people and making you feel like you're there.  The main romance is heartrendingly sweet and will curl your toes.  I would recommend this one, and say stick with it if the beginning feels a little slow or hard to follow - it gets better and you'll thank me for telling you to keep going.

I received a free copy of this book to review.  No other compensation was given.  The summary and review are 100% my own.

  2. Thanks for sharing this review. I've been looking for a time travel book that is in the paranormal genre. (see blog http://anythingbutnormal-juliewallace.blogspot.com/) My WIP is time travel/paranormal and I'd like to see how another author tackles it. I will put it on my list to read.

  3. Hi Jess and Julie! Hope you enjoy reading DRAWN.

Thanks to Clean Romance Reviews for this review! I found that writing a time travel novel made me wish we really could step into other times. I guess until they invent THAT machine, we'll always have books and our imaginations...
