"I realize that an educated wolf with manners might sound laughable."
Pride has never known the outside world. Born into captivity, she's spent her life learning to obey her master....and hone the werewolf within. Her parents died trying to escape and passed that yearning on to her. When her master reveals his plan to breed her, she knows she must leave. Sent on a mission to capture a young man, she finds an unlikely partner. Logan isn't what he seems though. Can she trust Logan to help her or will he turn on her like everyone else? Until they escape those who are following her, does she have a choice?
My Opinion: This was a very interesting book, taking a different take on werewolves than many other books do. Being much more realistic to legend, you get a harsher and stark look at the paranormal world that the author has created. Pride is a good character with strong feelings and a good development. Logan is a wonderful character, though a bit too good to be true. Their romance is good but I found it a bit strange when they were wolves and not humans, taking it to a more primal level. The pace was very fast at points, pulling you quickly through the story and leaving you waiting for the next book and wishing it was a bit longer. Overall a pretty good book.
I received a free copy of this book to review. No other compensation was given. The summary and review are 100% my own.
