"I don't understand it either, but I gave up trying to understand myself a long time ago."
Emma's always been different, being clairvoyant does that. But now, in her Senior year, her mother is sending her off to a private school. But this school isn't just a private school - it's a school for those who are gifted like her. Emma's not sure about it, but with the help of some new friends and the ever so cute Alex, she starts to relax. Maybe her abilities aren't so bad after all, if she can manage to quiet them down. Perhaps she can even find a way to start a normal relationship with Alex. But things aren't exactly what they seem at Voyance, and Emma may find herself in the middle of something she can't get out of. Can Emma and Alex escape with their love and lives intact?
My Opinion: This book has an interesting concept, but I felt a little let down at the pacing. It started out well, then slowed down a lot before coming back to the excitement and suspense that overwhelmed the ending. There were many mini-scenes that seemed to be cute and fun but not fleshed out. The characters were pretty good, Emma and Alex being cute together but only so deep. Their various friends were fun to interact with. The romance was sweet and kept you going, falling in love right with them. Overall it was an interesting book to read, though I felt it could have done a better job weaving the mystery and romance together throughout the book.
