Love Finds You in Sundance Wyoming
"Trouble. Beautiful trouble, but nevertheless, still trouble."
On the run from the outlaws she was raised with, Angel Ramirez has spent the last three years pretending to be a man. It's the only way she can get work on the cattle ranches on the frontier. But Angel is tired of not being herself and has determined that this new job, this new boss, would be the one she would tell. Surely she'd be safe. But she didn't count on how hard it would be to keep her job as a woman. Not that Travis Morgan was a bad man, in fact, he was too much of a gentleman. And made her feel too much like a woman. When her past comes back in unexpected ways, Angel will have to decide if her future can survive her past. Travis Morgan has too much on his plate to suddenly deal with a woman in his employ. But he can't afford to not use her skills to protect his herd. As he gets to know Angel he might just realize that she is just what he's needed for a long time. He'll have to decide just what position he wants her to have on Sundance Ranch.
My Opinion: This was a gripping book that made you come back for more. Though a little slow to start, the author pulls you into a world of ranching, outlaws and the American frontier. Angel is a wonderful and complex character, rough as a cowboy and yet yearning for more. Travis is a strong character, trying to take care of everyone and succeed as a rancher. Their interaction is well rounded and sweet. Side characters filled in their world and added in some excitement. I would have like to see a couple of characters either come back or make an appearance, but the book was full as it was. The romance was sweet and natural. Definitely a good read.
I received a free copy of this book to review. No other compensation was given. The summary and review are 100% my own.
