It's time for another interview.  Here's a bit about Jennifer's book.

Life on the Edge
Jennifer Comeaux

Now, on to the interview!

Give us a bit of your background

I’ve lived in south Louisiana all my life and am a tax accountant for a wonderful company located just north of New Orleans. I LOVE traveling, especially to figure skating competitions. I’ve only skated once in my life, but I was hooked on watching the sport on TV at a young age. Some of my favorite places I’ve visited are Boston, Cape Cod, Vancouver, and Southern California.

Fill in the blank favorites - Type of hero. Type of heroine.

Favorite type of hero – strong, sweet, and romantic
Favorite type of heroine – strong, heart of gold, fun

Say your publisher has offered to fly you anywhere in the world to do research on an upcoming book, where would you most likely want to go?

I’d like to go to Cape Cod because my first book, as well as the upcoming sequel, are set there, and I’d like to write more stories set in that beautiful area. It’s such a great place to find inspiration with its quaint little towns and peaceful scenery. I wish I could spend an entire summer there writing!

What other things do you have planned with your writing for the rest of the year 2012?

I’m currently finishing the sequel to LIFE ON THE EDGE! It’s titled EDGE OF THE PAST and will be released before Christmas!

What is the most rewarding thing about being a writer?

When readers tell me they felt an emotional connection to my story or my characters, it means the world to me. It’s what I want most when I write a story – to touch people’s hearts. To hear I’ve done that is the biggest reward of all.

Do you have a favorite comment or question from a reader?

One of my favorite comments from a reader was on Goodreads. She said about LIFE ON THE EDGE: “If Nicholas Sparks wrote sports novels, this would be it. Only this novel would undoubtedly be the gold to his silver.” To even be mentioned in the same sentence with Nicholas Sparks was an honor!

Please share about your book

My sweet romance LIFE ON THE EDGE is set in the world of figure skating, but as one reader on Amazon posted, “You don’t have to be a fan of figure skating to love this book.” The story centers around Emily, a pairs skater who falls in love with her young Russian coach Sergei. It’s a tender story of forbidden love that takes you on a journey of tribulations and triumph.

Use no more than two sentences. Why should we read your book?

LIFE ON THE EDGE is a heartwarming story that can be enjoyed by all ages. The romance will make you swoon, and the skating competitions will have you on the edge of your seat.

Thank you Jennifer for being with us and sharing yourself and your book!
