Nanny For the Millionaire's Twins

Susan Meier
Contemporary Romance
Book 2 of Series
The Tycoon's Secret Daughter, Nanny For the Millionaire's Twins

"Even if she wasn't engaged, she shouldn't be interested - attracted, whatever the devil she was - to him."

Chance has been away from home for years - ever since he found out the truth of his parentage.  But now, he has been left to raise twins alone and it's not going well.  Reluctantly, he accepts help from his family.  He doesn't expect to be faced with a beautiful nanny as soon as he pulls up to the house, or for the distraction she will pose.  Tory doesn't really want a job as a nanny for the taciturn Chance Montgomery, but she really needs to start moving on with her life.  The accident five years ago left her with painful rehab and a broken heart.  A heart that couldn't heal while her fiance was still in a coma.  Yes, perhaps watching two beautiful twin babies would help her come back to the world of the living.  But what happens when it's their daddy who is the one bringing her back to life?

My Opinion: This was a very compelling story of love and loyalty.  tory and Chance have a sweet romance that is held at bay by her past.  Great characterization for the two of them pulls the reader in.  Meier did an incredible job arguing all sides of the situation.  As much as I was rooting for them to get together, the author made me understand Tory's devotion and loyalty to a man in a coma for years.  And as that reality sank in I nearly cried with the characters as the bittersweet facts of life settled over them.  This was a powerful story of love that I would highly recommend.

I received a free copy of this book to review.  No other compensation was given.  The summary and review are 100% my own.
