  3. I can't think of a particular favorite Christmas Eve. I always love to spend time with my family. We usually watch "It's a Wonderful Life" have popcorn and enjoy being together.

  7. My husband proposed on Christmas Eve - Ten Years ago this year. With a plastic tablecloth, homemade cappelletti and wine ina giant tumbler jug of ice. We were so poor, only 20 and 21. He even purchased a cute bird candle holder from the dollar store so that we had some romantic lighting. I'll never forget. He got down on one knee - he had already asked my father for my hand in marriage - which meant the world to me, and my dad. He's still an amazing husband and father.

  8. I can remember when we made the decision, as a family, to begin the tradition of opening one gift on Christmas Eve. It's stuck too.

  9. My husband proposed on Christmas Eve (twenty years ago), too. Best Christmas Eve EVER! Family gatherings are a huge tradition and it's fun to watch the kids get excited for Santa and to open a gift.
