Not knowing the kind of person they are. If they are kind or not. Also not knowing what type of future there is.
ReplyDeleteI agree that one of the scariest things would be not really knowing what they are like deep down -- it takes more than a few days usually to learn that about a person.
ReplyDeleteThier personality. Would he be a good person, would he be kind, etc?
ReplyDeleteNot knowing if i´m gonig to put up with his quirks, if he´ll jangle my nerves.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway & Happy Tuesday!

Wondering if he's mean or even dangerous.
ReplyDeleteExpecting to be intimate with someone you barely know.
ReplyDeleteNot truly knowing if he is good or evil.
ReplyDeleteI would be most frightened of being tied that closely to someone whose moral character was unknown . . . and who might not want to be patient while he built trust with me.
ReplyDeleteTwo very different romances but in one sense both the same in that they are looking for something they don't have - love. I would love to read these books.
ReplyDeleteBoth people looking for love but not getting it. I would love to read these books.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the common thread...not knowing what kind of person he'd be. How awful it'd be to have to share your life with an ungodly, dishonest or abusive man!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd be afraid of him not having the same goals, ideals and religious convictions as me.
ReplyDeleteI think there are lots of reasons that it would be scary to marry someone you barely met. What if they are not who they present themselves to be? What if you will never be more than the reason they married you (dowry, physical, a bet, etc.)?
ReplyDeleteI think it would be figuring out how to adjust to one another and letting yourself learn to love them....would be hard!
ReplyDeleteLove contests. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteIs her nice? Decent? Moral? Clean? Affectionate? Attractive?
